LenovoSystemUpdateDownload respects the rights of copyright owners. This policy explains how to report material on lenovosystemupdatedownload.com that you believe infringes your copyright and how a person affected by removal may submit a counter-notice.
This page is intended to provide a practical copyright-notice process. It is not legal advice and does not replace advice from a qualified lawyer. Requirements can vary by jurisdiction and circumstance.
Before submitting a notice
Please confirm that:
- You own the copyright or are authorised to act for the owner.
- The material is actually located on our website rather than on an external Lenovo, Microsoft or third-party page.
- Your concern relates to copyright, not merely disagreement, trademark use, criticism, indexing or an unfavourable reference.
- You have considered whether the use may be authorised by a licence, fair use, fair dealing or another legal exception.
- You can identify the exact page and material involved.
Many links on this website lead to external sources. If the material you object to is hosted on another website, send your notice to the operator or designated agent of that destination. We cannot remove files from a server we do not control.
How to submit a copyright infringement notice
Send a written notice to contact@buytextlinks.com with the subject line Copyright Infringement Notice. To support an efficient review, include:
- Your full legal name and, when applicable, the organisation you represent.
- Your physical or mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list when multiple works are involved.
- The exact URL of each page containing the material you want reviewed.
- A clear description or screenshot identifying the specific material on the page.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or valid electronic signature.
A notice that does not identify the work, material and location may be delayed or may not provide enough information for action. Do not send unrelated confidential documents, passwords, recovery keys or complete device serial numbers.
What happens after a notice is received
We may review the notice for completeness, inspect the identified material and request clarification. Depending on the circumstances, we may remove or restrict access to material, correct attribution, contact the person responsible for the content, preserve relevant records or decline a notice that appears incomplete, mistaken or abusive.
Submitting a notice does not guarantee removal. Copyright disputes can involve ownership, licences, exceptions, public-domain status and factual questions that a website operator may not be able to decide conclusively.
Notice to the affected party
Where appropriate, we may provide a copy or summary of the complaint to the person associated with the challenged material. This can include the claimant's contact information and statements included in the notice, as permitted or required by law.
Counter-notice procedure
If material you provided was removed or restricted because of a copyright complaint and you believe that action resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to contact@buytextlinks.com with the subject line Copyright Counter-Notice.
A counter-notice should include:
- Your full legal name, address, telephone number and email address.
- Identification of the material removed or restricted and its previous location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction required by applicable law and accepting service of process from the original complainant or the complainant's agent.
- Your physical or valid electronic signature.
Because jurisdiction language can depend on your location and applicable law, consider obtaining legal advice before submitting a counter-notice.
Restoration after a counter-notice
Where the applicable process permits, material may be restored after a valid counter-notice unless the original complainant informs us that legal action has been filed to restrain the disputed use. Timing and restoration decisions depend on applicable law, the completeness of the documents and the circumstances.
False, misleading or abusive notices
Do not knowingly make false claims about ownership, authorisation, infringement or removal. A person who materially misrepresents that content is infringing or was removed by mistake may be responsible for damages, costs or other consequences under applicable law.
We may reject or take protective action against notices used to harass, censor lawful criticism, obtain personal information, impersonate a rights owner or interfere with the website through bad-faith complaints.
Repeat infringement
Where relevant to the website's features and required by law, we may restrict or terminate access associated with repeat infringement. Because this website primarily publishes editorial information rather than open public uploads, the action taken will depend on how the material was submitted and who controls it.
Trademark and other complaints
This process is intended for copyright complaints. Trademark, privacy, defamation, security or other legal concerns should be clearly identified in a separate message. Explain the legal right involved, the exact URL, the material at issue and the requested action.
